My hotsling is magic. Dexter a few weeks ago looked absolutely cramped in it and I wasnt sure if it was a good fit or not. Well today I tried it again because my Moby Wrap is in the car and it worked like a CHARM. He was all wide eyed and stopped crying the minute I got him in it and then after I walked around a bit (got a cup of coffee, a banana, and put a load of laundry in!) he was asleep! Its been about an hour I guess? Im super impressed. Now though I have to wake him up to feed him before I go to my doctors appointment at 1230. Im taking him with me but leaving Zack with my MIL. I figure I can feed Dex even while Im getting my shot. I actually took him into my drs appoinment yesterday and fed him while I got my blood pressure taken and my iron checked and they weighed me.

SO breastfeeding is still going well. Part of me has to say that to make me believe it. Im not totally sure its normal that he eats as frequent as he does or that he needs me to hold him as much as I do but hes still so little I dont want to change anything out of his schedule. Same thing with sleeping - I am following his lead for another month or so.. I dont feel its time yet to impose a schedule upon him. Im reading that Baby 411 book like its the official word and I hate that but I do feel comfortable with what they say.

OK. Im off to read some of Alicias writings. Im sure Ill be fully impressed..
